We manufacture a full range of thermal actuators for zone control in underfloor heating, radiant cooling and hot-water HVAC systems, divided into first-open, manual & automatic, easy-to-disassemble, water pump control and multi-stage intelligent control types. The range covers Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) configurations, 12V to 230V, on/off and 0-10V modulating control, and App-controlled smart models. Every unit is CE and RoHS certified, compliant with EN 60730, with a PA66+30% glass-fibre housing and a low 2W operating power.

Voltage & Control Signal

Most European residential systems use 230V on/off; central controllers and smart platforms usually use 24V; proportional systems need 0-10V modulating (e.g. 920080PL). Smart floor heating can use WiFi, ZigBee and Tuya models.

Normally Closed (NC) is the standard energy-saving fail-safe for floor heating. Normally Open (NO) suits applications where continuous flow is the safe default.

What is a thermal actuator?

An electric valve actuator for zone control in underfloor heating, radiant cooling and hot-water HVAC systems. On power, a PTC element heats the internal wax, which expands to drive the piston and open or close the manifold valve. On power-off, the wax cools and a return spring resets the valve, giving quiet, progressive motion with no solenoid noise or water hammer.

Are you a manufacturer or a trader?

We are a manufacturer. Thermal actuators are produced at our own factory in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, with in-house injection moulding, sub-assembly, wiring and end-of-line endurance testing. Factory visits are welcome by appointment.

What is the difference between NC and NO actuators?

Normally Closed (NC): valve stays closed without power and opens when energised — the standard for floor heating. Normally Open (NO): valve stays open and closes when energised — for systems where maintaining flow is the safe default.

Which voltage should I choose?

Match the output of your thermostat or controller: most European residential systems use 230V direct wiring; central controllers and smart platforms usually use 24V; 12V suits low-voltage DC systems.

Which manifolds are compatible?

We use M30x1.5mm and M28x1.5mm adapter threads, the two most common standards. Confirm the valve-head thread before ordering; adapters or OEM customization are available for other sizes.

What is the opening/closing time?

Standard models complete a cycle in 3-5 minutes. 920062PL offers an optional 60-90 second fast-action version.

Do you offer smart App-controlled actuators?
