02 How to Select

Choose the right element based on three key parameters:

1
Activation Temperature Range

The temperature at which the element starts moving and the temperature at which full stroke is reached.

2
Required Stroke

The piston stroke in millimetres that the valve mechanism needs to travel from fully closed to fully open.

3
Maximum Load

The return-spring stiffness the element must overcome. Maximum load must exceed the spring force at full stroke (90N / 140N / 180N-200N platforms).

07 FAQ

What is a wax thermostatic element?

A wax-filled thermal actuator that expands with temperature to move a valve piston, enabling automatic temperature control.

Are you a manufacturer or a trader?

We are a factory-direct manufacturer based in Jiaxing, China, with in-house tooling, wax compounding and testing.

What certifications do your elements hold?

ACS, WRAS, CNAS, IAF and Eurofins, depending on model and application.

What is the difference between ACS and WRAS?

Both are UK water-safety approvals. ACS focuses on product conformity for drinking-water fittings, while WRAS covers the wider Water Supply Regulations compliance.

What is the service life of your elements?

All models are rated for 100,000 operating cycles under normal conditions.

What is your warranty policy?

We offer standard warranty on all manufactured elements; terms are confirmed with each order.

What shipping and delivery options do you provide?

Sea, air and express courier options are available worldwide.

How can I request a sample?

Contact our sales team with your model and quantity; samples can be arranged against your specification.

Can you manufacture custom temperature set-points?

Yes, custom wax formulations and temperature set-points are supported through our ODM service.

How many models do you offer?

36 standard models covering 90N, 140N and 180N-200N load platforms, plus electrically heated variants.

Do you support specific brand valve designs?

Yes, we regularly develop elements to interface with OEM valve designs under confidentiality.

Do you supply test certificates with shipments?

Yes, 100% tested units can be accompanied by batch test certificates.

What is the difference between passive and electrically heated wax elements?

Passive elements respond to ambient fluid temperature; electrically heated elements expand when a voltage is applied, enabling electric actuation.
